We can't feel our way to forgiveness. We have to trust that God is going to do what God can do.

Matthew 6:12, 14-15

12 and forgive us our debts,

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

14 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

The bonding agent of the body of Christ is Christ. Ephesians 2:18-22 For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord.
