This series is intended to focus on the secular Christmas tradition of gift giving by acknowledging that Jesus was the perfect gift and that those who have received this gift are now privileged to be the gift giver of the same gift we received.
The content of the series will be a study of messianic passages from the Old Testament prophet Isaiah. Yet, each weekend those concepts will be tied to a phrase found in the traditional Christmas story of Luke 2. So, the Christmas narrative will continue through the New Testament storytelling in the traditional passage, but the weekly Bible study/message will come from the Old Testament passages in Isaiah.
