December 23, 2024 • Pastor Matt Keller • Luke 1:46–55
Christmas is often celebrated as the most joyous time of the year, yet many find it challenging to experience that joy due to the stress and busyness of the season. True joy, however, is found in knowing God deeply, as illustrated by Mary in the Bible. Despite facing significant challenges, Mary was filled with joy because she focused on God's greatness, worthiness, and promises. Her song of praise, The Magnificat, reveals three key assurances that bring joy: recognizing God's personal concern, acknowledging His power, and remembering His promises. By following Mary's example and shifting our focus from our circumstances to God's faithfulness, we can find a profound and lasting joy that transcends any situation.
The Prince of Peace
December 15, 2024 • Pastor Matt Keller • Colossians 1:19–23
In a chaotic world, true peace often seems unattainable. Based on Colossians 1:19-23, this message reveals that peace is guaranteed through Jesus Christ. Unlike worldly pursuits, Jesus offers a peace that transcends circumstances. By resting in His forgiveness, trusting His sovereignty, and pursuing peace in relationships, we can experience profound wholeness and harmony. Reflect on whether you seek peace in worldly things or in your relationship with Jesus.
Real Hope
December 8, 2024 • Hebrews 1
As Christmas approaches, it's easy to get lost in the festivities. However, true hope is found in Jesus, as highlighted in Hebrews 1. Jesus is not just a baby in a manger but the eternal Son of God, our Redeemer, and Ruler. He is the better revelation, offering a complete and final sacrifice for our sins, and His reign is marked by righteousness and justice. This season, anchor your hope in Jesus and reflect on His divine nature and redemptive work.
