The Church exists for a calling and a purpose. After His resurrection, Jesus instructed His disciples to carry on with the advancement of the gospel. He gave clear instruction about His mission and how His followers were to come together and be the “hands and feet” of His great movement! Jesus declared, “you will be my witnesses” and sent us out to “make disciples of all nations”. We also discover in Scripture the many different things Jesus saw as very important. Things like discipleship, partnership, and generosity were important to Jesus, as well as the local gathering of believers that we refer to as the "local church”. In this series we will take a look at these things and see why we should all get behind Jesus and His calling. By loving God and loving people together, we can fulfill that which Christ has called us to do!
