In Galatians we see one of the most loved passages in the Bible. It reveals to us the ‘fruits” of the Spirit. The fruit of the Holy Spirit is in direct contrast with sin in our life, and it is the result of the Holy Spirit’s working in our life. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit, not human determination that produces spiritual fruit. Galatians 5:22-23 says, “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” In this study we will examine the kingdom values produced in us by the Holy Spirit. These “fruits” reveal the evidence of the Holy Spirit in our life and that which is important for us to live by.
