Pastor Larry launched our new series on Esther (“For Such a Time as This”) last Sunday and the excitement has begun! Today, we move on to chapter 2 in a deep message entitled, “The Miss Persia Beauty Pageant” as we see Esther competing for the title of Queen of the largest empire in the world. Did she choose to enter this pageant...or was she forced? If she was forced, where was God when she was taken by the King? Why did He allow this? And where was God when you were hurting as well?

We have had a great teaching series in the Book of Esther by Pastor Larry that concludes today with a bang! We will focus on Esther chapter 9 and deal with a number of key issues: Did Israel have the right to defend themselves when attacked and do they today? Does Israel today contain people who are not real Jews? How do we effectively share the Gospel with Muslims? What does the Bible say about Capital Punishment? How do you overcome generational curses?

Pastor Larry is back this today to continue our series in Esther. The timing couldn’t be better. Chapter 8 summarizes the Jews’ victory over Haman, who tried to murder all of the Jews in the Persian Kingdom. The parallels to today’s headlines from Israel are incredible. So, Pastor Larry will give us a biblical and prophetic explanation of the war in Israel and where we are in God’s timeline of events. His appropriate sermon title for this Sunday is: “Don’t Mess with Israel!” This is a sermon you must hear!

Today we move on to chapter 7 and hear from Pastor Larry a sermon on the shocking, sudden death of Haman in a powerful message entitled, “PAYDAY SOMEDAY!”. What a reminder that there is day of judgment coming when God Himself will bring justice to evil doers and will honor those who obey Him.
