Week 5 - The Gospel of Luke

December 16, 2021 • Shannon Lewis • Luke 2:1–7

Around 60 A.D., a Gentile man named Luke wrote a letter to Theophilus concerning the life of Jesus Christ. That letter, which we now call "The Gospel of Luke", has been verified against many circulated copies over the past 2000 years establishing its credibility as a trustworthy, historical document. In this letter, Luke tells of the life, the death, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He writes to give Theophilus confidence in what he has been told about a man named Jesus, and as a result, confidence to us all today that Jesus is the prophesied Christ that has come to unite us back to God our Father.
