TEACHER TRAINING FOR WEDNESDAY NIGHT MINISTRIES AUGUST 18TH & 25TH The Wednesday ministries are gearing up for their restart on Wednesday, September 1st. In preparation for this restart, we will be having two training session, Aug. 18th & 25th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm for REACH SM, CrossPoint Kids (K-6th) and CrossPoint Juniors (3-4 years of age). We are always looking for more individuals that want to invest in the spiritual formation of our children. If you are planning to serve or are interested in finding out more, please plan to join us for the nights of training. STRASSENFEST PARADE AUGUST 8th AT 12:30 PM This year CrossPoint will participate in the Strassenfest parade by handing out popsicles. We could use your help in two ways. First, we could use donations of freeze pops. Second, we need several families to walk along the parade route and pass out popsicles and church information. Please consider joining us!
THE POINT BIBLICAL COUNSELING MINISTRY

The POINT biblical counseling is a counseling ministry that CrossPoint Fellowship Church has developed over the years to help people in our church as well as those who are in our community. CrossPoint believes through this ministry the Lord will provides the answers needed for life. This is a video that will explain and show you how the POINT counseling ministry works, and what to expect in a typical counseling session.

RECOGNITION OF GRADUATES MAY 30th It is with great joy and expectation that we congratulate all of our High School and College Graduates. CrossPoint is proud of your efforts and accomplishments, and we will continue praying for you as you move into this next season of life. We encourage you to embrace Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.” SUMMER BIBLE STUDY BEGINNING JUNE 15th and 16th The REACH girls and LIFT ladies will be coming together this summer to study the book of Colossians using Ruth Chou Simmons new Bible study, Truthfilled. Everything you need is available online and hard copies of the teen and women’s books are available on the Lifeway and Amazon websites. Check out the LIFT bulletin board or the email Jessica Kassebaum sent earlier this week for more information. WEEKLY PRAYER FOCUS Please be in prayer for Vacation Bible School. Pray for children to be saved and to grow in the Lord. LADIES LIFT NIGHT MAY 21st AT 6:00 PM Due to Graduation, we are moving our Ladies LIFT Night from May 28th to May 21st. This month we will be meeting at 6:00 pm at Los Bravos for dinner followed by a walk on the Riverwalk which will end at 8:30 pm. Please RSVP to Lindsay Dumond at 270-316-7400 by Thursday, May 20th if you plan to join us for dinner. Hope to see you all there! GRADUATION SUNDAY MAY 30TH On Sunday, May 30th, we will be honoring our High School and College graduates as well as those children who are moving up in their Sunday School classes. CHURCH IN THE PARK JUNE 6TH AT 10:00 AM This year we will be holding our CITP at Bohnert Park. We will be meeting at 10:00 am for muffins and juice followed by our morning worship service at 10:30 am. We will be serving lunch following the worship service. We will have family activities in the afternoon so please invite your family and friends. There will be a sign-up sheet sent out next week for muffins, water, chips, and juice. VBS REGISTRATION NOW OPEN VBS is only 6 weeks away, June 7th – 11th, and we are excited for this upcoming year. The theme is Wonder World Fun Fest: Amazed by Our Extraordinary Savior and we have a great week planned for your child. Registration is now open online at http://www.cpjasper.com/vbs. Please register your child, and any guest they may be bringing, by May 16th for a free t-shirt NURSERY WORKERS NEEDED We are currently looking for ladies/teen’s who would be available to work in the nursery during the morning service and Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. Jessica http://%28jessica.m.kassebaum@gmail.com) has an online schedule in place where you can choose the dates that work best for you. This is a vital ministry for our families with children giving them the opportunity to sit under the teaching ministry of the church. Thanks for considering being a part of the nursery ministry.

Friends are welcome! COUPLES GETAWAY MARCH 5TH & 6TH We are planning a couple’s getaway in Evansville on March 5th & 6th. We will have dinner at 7:00 pm in Evansville followed by axe throwing at Plaid and Timber. For those interested in staying overnight we have reserved rooms under CrossPoint Church for $84.00 at the Country Inn and Suites on Circle Front Dr. Please mark your calendar and make plans to attend. There will be a sign-up sheet on Breeze. February 28th the Building and Grounds Committee will be meeting immediately following Sunday School in Room 206. LADIES LIFT NIGHT JANUARY 22nd AT 6:30 PM This month our Ladies LIFT Night will be focused on putting together care packages for our college kids. We have 10 college students that we would love to bless this year so please mark your calendar and make plans to join us on Friday, January 22nd from 6:30 – 8:00 pm in Room 206. Items needed would include: Snack food, gum, candy, school supply items, etc. If you are unable to attend but would still like to be a part of this, you can drop off items in the church office and we will pack them for you. TEEN WINTER CAMP AT TWIN LAKES CAMP JANUARY 15-17 Winter Camp is upon us and this Friday, our teenagers will be leaving for a fun filled weekend at Twin Lakes Camp. They will be meeting at the church at 3:45 pm and departing no later than 4:00 pm. Please go on the Twin Lakes Camp Website and view the necessary items needed for Winter Camp. Please pack wisely and efficiently as there is limited space. Duffle bags work best at filling in tight spaces. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Jean Marc Devarier. GUEST SPEAKER AUSTIN KEISLING JANUARY 10 Austin Keisling is with us today and will be speaking during the morning service and will be presenting the ministry of Campus Outreach D.C. (OCDC) during Sunday School. Austin has just completed a pastoral internship at Capital Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Dever and his staff. Austin is raising support to join the ministry of OCDC and would love to talk with you more about how you can join him in reaching the students on the college campuses of Washington D.C.

MISSION MONDAYS DECEMBER 14, 7:00 AM This year we are Going BIG by thinking SMALL. In light of our current COVID restrictions we are searching for ways to reach our community with the gospel message without large gatherings or programs. Starting in December we will be taking the 2nd Monday of each month to target our local schools and bring the teachers and staff breakfast (donuts, bagels, fruit & coffee) as a way of showing the love of Christ.

CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE DECEMBER 24th AT 5:00 PM We would love to have each of you invite your family and friends to join us beginning at 5:00 PM for a night of reflection and worship as we celebrate the birth of our Savior. This is a special time of year and we would love to see many of you there. TEEN WINTER CAMP AT TWIN LAKES CAMP JANUARY 15-17 The teens will be heading to winter camp at Twin Lakes Camp from January 15th – 17th. There are flyers and registration forms on the back table. The cost for this event is $40 per student/$80 per family. Please register your child by January 6th so we can make travel arrangements. Friends are welcome! TESTIMONIES NEEDED As the new year is approaching, CrossPoint is giving every member the opportunity to share their salvation story, via video, to the church on Sunday mornings. They will enjoy searching the mall looking for ‘pieces of Santa’s suit’ while evading other teams. Teens will be responsible for purchasing their lunch in the food court and friends are welcome! THANKSGIVING SERVICE NOVEMBER 22nd Please mark your calendar and make plans for your family to join us for our Thanksgiving Service on November 22nd. We will enjoy a time of praise and worship during our Worship Service from 10:00 – 11:15 AM, followed by a Thanksgiving meal at 11:30 AM. There is a sign-up sheet on the back wall for those interested in attending as well as an opportunity to bring a dish to share. This will be a wonderful kickoff to our holiday season! UNWRAPPING THE NAMES OF JESUS AN ADVENT DEVOTIONAL During this Christmas season we would love for each family to pick up a copy of “Unwrapping the Name of Jesus – An Advent Devotional”. This devotional will begin Nov. 29th and run through Christmas with a daily devotional and weekly craft for your family to enjoy. We would love to have the entire church participate with their families. The books are located on the back table and the cost is $10.00 (one per household). Please join us as we seek to worship our Savior throughout this Christmas season together.
