Followers of Jesus are citizens of God’s kingdom before we are citizens of any particular country on earth, and that makes us strangers, exiles, aliens—it makes us a bit peculiar.
The story of Easter tells us that when your loss, your fear, or your doubt—or any other crisis in your life—collides with the resurrected Jesus, they are transformed to joy, peace, and trust because Jesus is alive.
