The Mosaic Law was never the enemy of grace. No. It testified to the coming of grace
and prepared mankind for its coming by proving that humanity has no ability
to lift itself to God's lofty standards. Before he died, Jesus preached the Law like
nobody ever had: lifting it to it's original, high, pristine place. He did this to break
the back of self-righteous Pharisee-ism and to prove to us that we are unable to keep the Law...
