Today we are going to take a passage that seems somewhat obscure and from it spring into our message on “The Qualities of a Godly Mother”. A Godly mother is any WOMAN who releases God’s gift of MOTHERHOOD.

Memorial Day was originally known as Decoration Day because it was a time set aside to honor the nation's Civil War dead by decorating their graves. It was first widely observed on May 30, 1868, to commemorate the sacrifices of Civil War soldiers, by proclamation of General John A. Logan of the Grand Army of the Republic, an organization of former sailors and soldiers. It was later declared that Memorial Day would be observed as a day to remember all military personnel who gave their life for America’s freedom. These were the sacrifices made in America’s wars.
