Waiting Tables

November 17, 2021 • Brad Randall • Acts 6:1–7

As the church continued to grow, so did some grumblings. However, the Apostles were given the wisdom to come up with a solution...serving! As they focused on prayer and preaching God’s Word, others began to serve the Body of Christ. As Believers, we are ALL called to serve in some way. If Jesus came to serve and give his life, then his life leads us to serve Him.

The Job Description

November 10, 2021 • Brad Randall • Acts 5:17–42

With every role in life comes expectations. The greatest role we have is being a believer in Christ and a witness to His Kingdom. This role has expectations as well. Acts 5 reveals that believers should expect trials, persecution, and moments when we have to stand up for our faith. However, we can also expect to experience the work of God throughout our life before the greatest experience of all, eternity with Him.

Ananias & Sapphira: PART 2

November 3, 2021 • Brad Randall • Acts 5:1–16

Though the story of Ananias and Sapphira can seem depressing, their death is not the end of the story. Their sin was the first to enter the Church and God revealed Himself as Holy, as well as showed us the danger of sin. However, their sin developed a divine respect for the Church and led many to faith. As far as Ananias and Sapphira, as believers they were taken home to be with Jesus for eternity. God’s grace and mercy continues to be seen throughout His Word.
