God’s Plan and Purpose is tightly interwoven throughout the Book of Esther. Esther was shown favor to be in the position of queen, but was then faced with the decision whether or not to risk her life on behalf of her people, the Jews. Mordecai reminded Esther of God’s promise for the Jews and how God would rescue them. However, she needed to consider that she had become queen for this very moment and opportunity for God to use her to deliver the Jews. Recorded live on April 21, 2021 at 6:30 PM

There are many ways we could describe the early church, but one clear characteristic of these new believers is DEVOTED! Acts 2:42 tells us that they had their heart set on the teaching of God’s Word, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer. This isn’t meant to be unique to them alone. These four disciplines are for every follower of Christ. They helped the early church grow in spiritual maturity and they help us mature our faith as well.
The Clear Gospel

When the Spirit of God came upon the disciples and tongues of fire broke out throughout Jerusalem, it left the city amazed by God’s power, but still confused about what took place. But, the Apostle Peter cleared the confusion by preaching the clear Gospel. The Good News of Jesus may be difficult to embrace for some, but it’s not difficult to understand. When they heard the clear Gospel, they were “cut to the heart” and the Church exponentially grew like it had never experienced before.
