God’s Plan and Purpose is tightly interwoven throughout the Book of Esther. Esther was shown favor to be in the position of queen, but was then faced with the decision whether or not to risk her life on behalf of her people, the Jews. Mordecai reminded Esther of God’s promise for the Jews and how God would rescue them.
