Two birds with One Stone

Acts Series

December 1, 2021 • Brad Randall • Acts 7:48–50

Acts gives us plenty of examples of men who live for Jesus. One that stands out is a man named Stephen. Not only did he live for Jesus, but he became the first believer to die for his faith as well. All the way through his last breath, God’s Word tells us that Stephen lived for Jesus regardless of what it cost him. You and I may never have to experience persecution like that, but we are called to the same dedication.

In the story of the Apostle Peter and Cornileus, God fulfills a promise. He not only provided salvation through Jesus for the Jews, but for the entire world. This moment reveals God’s boundless love for us to know Him as our Father and to be in relationship forever.

Happy New You

As we begin a new year, we see a story of a new man. Saul’s conversion from persecuting Christians to becoming a Christian is certainly gripping. But, even if your story of redemption doesn’t seem appealing it is still a miracle. It shows us the work that God does in ALL who turn from darkness into marvelous light.
