On May 12th, for the first time in four years, Every Child Lane County will be hosting Foster Family Fun Day. This fun-filled day honors the families who provide a safe home for children in foster care. Foster Family Fun Day is filled with games, food, a zip line, mini-golf, and much more. One of the ways we honor these families is through fun-filled, thoughtfully made gift baskets. Baskets can be a gift for the resource parent or a basket for the entire family. Our goal is to have at least 50 baskets. So what do you say? Would you be able to help? Make one by yourself, your family, or go in together with another family or even your coworkers. Keep in mind that there are fathers, mothers, grandfathers, grandmothers, some married couples and some single parents, some with young children and others with teens. Pick a theme (ideas below) and pull together a fun basket ($25+ value) Drop off your baskets to the Every Child Lane County office May 8th-11th from 9-3 pm.
