Main Points:
- Knowing persecution will come shapes what we are passionate about
- Knowing there is a judgement and a penalty for unbelief shapes our sense of urgency
- Knowing there is a reward shapes our ability to be bold

1. The Problem: A believer living in sin disrupts the focus and unity of the church. 2. The Response: The entire church exercises discipline on those bringing shame to the name of Christ. 3. The Prayer: Petition the Father for the peace, presence, and grace of God.
Application Points: - A believer’s gratitude originates from their assurance of faith. - Clinging to God’s Word, and God’s Word alone, results in stability and perseverance. - Man finds peace and comfort only through God’s gracious love.
