Christianity is not a cage. It's not about what you can and cannot do. It's not about what you can and cannot have. It's about the freedom found only through Jesus Christ. The door to the cage is open. It always has been. You need only to walk through it.

Guilt and shame are not something God would ever burden us with. These thoughts and feelings are often brought on by unconfessed sin and an unwillingness to repent. Also, people will wrong us as well, creating the same feelings. Dustin tells a story about a time in junior high, where the term “Gotcha Kitchel!” made him and Daniel want to run away and hide.
