Ways to Engage Each Week

Run With Perseverance - Stewardship 2021

We are inviting each of you to join us in this race. The race is not optional for Covenant. The neighbors, mission partners, families, students, and members who depend on Covenant need to know that we are ready. We have a race to run and it’s going to take your commitment, your time, your talents, and your financial gifts to help us reach the finish line. Will you join us? Will you run with perseverance? See you at the finish line! Katie and Lee Cornwell 2021 Stewardship Campaign Chairs

Knitting for Neighbors

Knitting group invites all who love yarn – take part in socially distanced fellowship. Join knitting friends to knit warm scarves for sharing this Christmas. We'll provide yarn, needles, and a simple pattern (pictured). In return, we ask that you commit to completing the scarf by mid-December for Room In the Inn guests and local teachers. Contact Sally Graves to learn more.

Stephen Ministers

A crisis can turn your world upside down. Consider a Stephen Minister to walk with you on your journey. Covenant’s Stephen Ministry is a group of trained, compassionate, faith-filled listeners who connect with others through confidential, one-on-one relationships. Stephen Ministers strive to share God’s love and provide hope, support and caring during difficult times. The identity of those receiving care and what takes place in each caring relationship remain private. Think of Stephen Ministers as companions on your journey, even if that means just talking on the phone during a tough day. “We are here to walk with you,” says Nancy Haggart, a Stephen Minister who connected with the group when she joined Covenant. Get connected: Contact Rev. Katherine Kerr to express interest in being matched with a Stephen Minister. The process is confidential.
