Covenant's Outdoor Ministry

Explore God in Nature

August 11, 2021 • Serenitye Taylor, Lauren Sawyers

In this week's One Takes, Pastoral Resident, Serenitye Taylor, speaks with Lauren Sawyers, one of our Outdoor Ministry leaders, about the ways our Congregational Life team has explored ways to expand the Outdoor Ministry program into four different buckets.

Over the past year, many of us have gained a new appreciation for the outdoors in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and Outdoor Ministry is seeking new ways to invite individuals from across generations into relationship with one another, the environment and God.

To get involved in this growing program as a participant or a leader, please join us for an informational meeting on August 11 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Covenant.

This story teaches us about human life and some of the struggles we have to deal with in life. Living in a spiritual desert, Job keeps faith because he knows that God is with him even though he can't find him. He doubles down and keeps on the path even in difficult times.
