Part of being a leader is recognizing each of us stands in a long line of people; many came before us and many more will follow after. Leaders can learn from the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard to give honor to those who came before and not stand in judgment of those who follow.

Your soul is the place where your heart (attitudes) and mind (thoughts and perceptions) overlap. How you regulate your soul’s reaction to things will determine your path in life. Because your soul is constantly seeking a direction it is essential you are able to keep your soul still – and at peace – so that you can hear God’s voice, and respond to what He tells you.

Your heart is a container. You will store in your heart the things that are important to you. Your heart’s condition determines the quality of your life, and is a barometer of your spiritual health. Therefore, you need to make sure you are storing the proper things in your heart.
