CovKids - 21 Days of Prayer

January 11 - 31

Day 21

>**PRAYERS FOR ME** ____ Wow! It is hard to believe this is the final day of our 21 Days of Prayer. Hopefully, you have felt God closer than before, and He has answered some of your prayers!  The Message version of *Jeremiah 29:12 reads, “When you call on me, when you come to me, I’ll listen.”* God wants you to come to Him with everything! • What are you asking God for? • What are some prayer requests God has answered?  Trust God with your whole heart and trust that He wants what is **BEST** for you. God loves you, and He listens to you!  ***Let’s Pray: God, thank you for listening to my prayers. Thank you for the prayers you have not yet answered because I know you want what’s best for me, and your timing is perfect. Lord, I give all of my life to you. I trust You! In Jesus' name, Amen.*** *Mrs. Simone | Carrollton Campus**

Day 20

>**PRAYERS FOR ME** ____ Be Bold!   **"Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done." Philippians 4:6**   God is so good and loves you so much. He cares for you more than you know. It's wonderful to pray for others; it's also ok to pray for yourself. With confidence and a kind heart, you can ask God for anything. Don't be afraid, have big faith, and ask.   ***What is your prayer need right now?*** *- Mrs. Nicole | McKinney Campus*

Day 19

>**PRAYERS FOR OTHERS** ____ Do you pray for others?   Everyone needs prayer, but it may seem a little hard to pray for someone, and that's ok. One way to help is to start a journal and write your prayers for people around you - *your siblings, parents, friends, and teachers*. God wants you to have faith in your prayers and believe He is answering your prayers. He may not answer you right away, but have confidence when you pray! Be bold when you pray and know God is working out the best answer for you!   ***Let's pray: Thank you, Father, for being so good to me! Please continue teaching me how to pray in confidence and believe you hear what I am praying. Father, continue showing me the path you have for me and lead me in my walk with you!*** *- Mrs. Jessica | McKinney Campus*

Day 18

>**PRAYERS FOR PROTECTION** ____ **“Those who go to God Most High for safety will be protected. Say to the Lord; You are my place of safety and protection. You are my God, and I trust you.” Psalm 91:9-10** The Lord is your refuge and shelter from evil. He promises to help you and send His angels to guard you from harm. Jesus wants to keep you safe because He loves you!    *- Ms. Kayla | Carrollton Campus*

Day 17

>**PRAYERS FOR WHEN I FEEL AFRAID** _____ **“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of POWER and of LOVE and of a SOUND MIND.” 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV** Sometimes you may feel afraid or worried about something. Maybe you hear or read some bad news or get a bad feeling. Maybe you start thinking about something, and get flooded with worry and negative emotions. Many different things can make you feel fearful, but something greater can take away that fear.  The Bible says that God hasn’t given you a spirit of fear but a spirit of **POWER**, **LOVE**, and a **SOUND MIND**!! So, what exactly does that mean? It means that when you get fearful, concerned, or upset, you do not have to let those fears take over. It means that you can **TRUST IN GOD** to bring His peace in any and **EVERY** situation!   *- Mr. David | Colleyville Campus*

Day 16

>**PRAYERS FOR WHEN I FEEL ALONE** ____ Do you have a friend? Do you have a best friend or someone you always want to talk to and play with? He or she may be someone you want to share all the good and bad things in your life with. Did you know Jesus wants to be that kind of best friend to you?? **FOR REAL**! The Savior of the World, **JESUS**, wants to be **YOUR** best friend!   He wants to know when you are happy and when you are sad. He wants **YOU** to know that He will **NEVER** leave you! Here are a few scriptures to remind you that He is with you **ALWAYS**. **Read Matthew 28:20 and Hebrews 13:5**!    If you feel lonely today, take a moment and ask God to fill your heart with His love and peace. You are so loved, and you are never alone!  *- Mrs. Sunni | Cross Roads Campus*

Day 15

>**PRAYERS FOR MY FAMILY** ___ Did you know one of the **GREATEST** things you can do for your family is to pray for them? You can pray for your close family members like your parents or siblings, family members you don’t see often and miss, or family members who don’t know Jesus.  Praying for your family invites God’s presence into your home. Wherever God’s presence is, you can find peace, joy, love, and unity.   *- Mrs. Andrea | Carrollton Campus*

Day 14

>**PRAYERS FOR WHEN I NEED HELP** ___ Put on the FULL Armor of God!  *Ephesians 6:11-18 tells us to put on the Full Armor of God to take our stand against the enemy’s plans.* God tells us that we **WILL** be tempted, but we will win the battle if we put on our armor! Read **Ephesians 6:11-18** and practice putting on the **FULL** Armor of God!  ***Let’s Pray: God, thank you for reminding me that I will go through battles and for giving me the armor to protect me in those battles. Help me to remember to put on my armor every day, and trust that you are fighting with me and for me. In Jesus' name, Amen.*** Check out our song, “**Armor of God**,” on our YouTube page or the CovLive App to help you remember the full Armor of God!  *- Mrs. Simone | Carrollton Campus*

Day 13

>**ASK GOD TO LEAD YOU EVERY DAY** ____ We can follow God!   **"Your own ears will hear Him. Right behind you a voice will say, 'This is the way you should go,' whether to the right or to the left." Isaiah 30:21 NLT**  Have you ever been lost and not known where you were going? It's not a fun feeling. The easiest way to avoid this is to ask for directions from someone with a map. Jesus has the map to live by and has the best plan for your life. If you ask Him, Jesus can help lead you in how you treat people; He can help you with the words you speak to people, and so much more!   Ask God to lead you today, and every day.  *- Mrs. Nicole | McKinney Campus*

Day 12

>**GIVE THANKS EVERY DAY** ____ Give Thanks in everything you do! God loves you so much that He sent His son Jesus down to earth to rescue you! God loves and cares for you and gives you so many things to be thankful for! Can you think of something you are thankful to God for? As a part of the CovKids team, we are so thankful for **YOU**! When you have a thankful heart, God can help you turn a bad day into a good day, and things just won’t bother you as they did before. Give it a try! Be thankful in all situations that come your way, and watch what God can do!   ***Let’s Pray: Father, please continue to show me how to be thankful in all situations. Help me to grow in thankfulness. In Jesus' name, Amen!*** *- Mrs. Jessica | McKinney Campus*

Day 11

>**TELL JESUS HOW GREAT HE IS** ____ Talk to Jesus! *"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever." Psalm 107:1*   One way to pray is by telling God how great He is! When you pray, tell Him how you feel about Him! Speak His words back to Him. Use scripture to help you know what to say to Him! Scriptures speak of His goodness and great love for you! It’s good to know that Jesus cares about you enough to listen to you all the time! Here are a few scriptures you can look up to help you...**Psalm 100:4-5, Psalm 118:24, and Mark 12:30**.  *- Ms. Kayla | Carrollton Campus*

Day 10

>**PRAYER AND SCRIPTURE FOR EVERY DAY** _____ Pray about **EVERYTHING**!  *Philippians 4:6 says, “Don’t worry about anything, instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done.”* This is not just Good News; this is **GREAT NEWS**!! Sometimes life has its ups and downs, and that’s ok, because you can pray about **EVERYTHING**!   It is **AMAZING** to know that God wants you to talk to Him through prayer about **EVERYTHING**! If you have a problem with a bully at school or in your neighborhood, talk to God about it. If you need help remembering what you studied for a test, talk to God about it. If you have a friend or family member who is sick, talk to God about it. If you just got an unexpected blessing, talk to God about it. Talk to God about **EVERYTHING** and don't worry about **ANYTHING**!   ***What do YOU want to talk to God about today?*** *- Mr. David | Colleyville Campus*

Day 9

>**FOR YOURS IS THE KINGDOM AND THE POWER AND THE GLORY FOREVER. AMEN!** ____ Who is like our Lord? No one is as amazing, as strong, as powerful, as faithful, or as worthy of our praise and love!   *Jeremiah 32:17 says that there is nothing too hard for God!* God can do anything! He can help us when we are scared, bring us peace when hard things are going on in our lives. He can help you in school or when you are fighting with a friend. God loves you, and He wants to help you in **EVERY** area of your life. He wants to be the boss of your life and help you make the right decisions. There is nothing too hard for God to help you with!   What do you need God’s help with today? Write it down in your journal and ask God to help; I promise He will!  *- Mrs. Sunni | Cross Roads Campus*

Day 8

>**AND DO NOT LEAD US INTO TEMPTATION, BUT DELIVER US FROM THE EVIL ONE** ____ God’s Word is Truth!  Did you know God loves you, and there’s nothing you can do to change that? Even on your not-so-great days? Sometimes you may not have the best of days. Maybe someone said something mean to you, or you didn’t make the best decisions and feel bad about it. Even though bad things may happen, you should never let what happens to change the way you view yourself. It is so important to read God’s word to see what He says about you. In the Bible, you can find the truth of who you are!  Here are some verses to get you started. Shout them out loud to yourself!   • I am fearfully and wonderfully made! **Psalms 139:14** ____ • I am more than a conqueror! **Romans 8:37** ____ • I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! **Philippians 4:13**  ***What is your favorite verse that reminds you of God’s truth about you?*** *- Mrs. Andrea | Carrollton Campus*

Day 7

>**AND FORGIVE US OUR DEBTS, AS WE FORGIVE OUR DEBTORS** ____ Forgiveness!  *“But God is faithful and fair. If we admit that we have sinned, He will forgive us our sins. He will forgive every wrong thing we have done. He will make us pure.” 1 John 1:9 NIRV* Sometimes forgiveness seems so hard, but this Bible verse above tells us that God is faithful and just, and He forgives you of your sins when you confess them.   Another verse says it this way, *“Be kind and tender to one another. Forgive each other, just as God forgave you because of what Jesus has done.” Ephesians 4:32 NIRV*.     Do you need to ask God for forgiveness? Who do you need to forgive? You will be surprised how much better you feel when you forgive others! We encourage you to let today be the last day you hold unforgiveness in your heart.  ***Let’s Pray: God, thank you for forgiving me of all of my sins. Thank you for your son, Jesus. Lord, I ask that you show me how to forgive others. Show me how to be kind to others, just as you have been kind to us. In Jesus' name, Amen.***   *- Mrs. Simone | Carrollton Campus*
