Mary Magdalene was the first person who saw Jesus after He rose from the dead. In the Jewish culture, women could not serve as witnesses, but God places just as much value on women as men. The fact that the disciples reported that women were the first witnesses proves that the story of Jesus’ resurrection was not fabricated.
