Take a moment and imagine what grace would look like if God thought like us. When someone offends us, grace is not our first thought or even our last. Our problem is, we run out of grace with people and want nothing to do with them, they are a mistake, they hurt our image, they are not people we ever want to associate with again. Imagine if God said, “I’ve run out of grace with you.” He has every right to say that. Can you imagine what that would feel and look like? It would be devasting. Based on scripture, we would be doomed to hell. No longer would be second, third or even fourth chances be given freely from God; He would punish us the second we make a mistake with no forgiveness.
Thank the LORD that grace is GREATER than our greater incentive at Cornerstone. How we need to be transformed by the renewing of our minds and see grace just as God gives grace.
Join us for a 12-week series on “Grace is GREATER (than greater) starting August 3-4.
