We've already learned the importance of:

1. Securing ourselves in the Truth of God

2. Covering our heart with the Righteousness of Christ

3. Going forth with the Gospel of His Grace

4. Protected by the Shield of Faith

5. Crowned in the Glory of His Salvation.

With these in place, we have all we need to be protected from Satan's attacks; but it is not until we take up the Sword of the Spirit that we are ready to FIGHT!! This is the only offensive weapon in the Armor of God. Everything else has been provided to protect us, but with the Sword of the Spirit, we strike the enemy.

Stand - Belt of Truth

In his new teaching series, Warren explores the Truth we find in Ephesians 6: 10-18. As parents, you are called to STAND on what you allow in your homes. What are you children consuming in their everyday lives? This goes beyond what they eat for nourishment. It includes what they see and listen to. They are bombarded with lies from Satan that brings so much anxiety and insecurities into their lives. This is why it's so important to put on the Belt of Truth and teach your children about Jesus and His promises. STAND - Righteousness & Grace

The forces of darkness in this world are trying to silence God's Word and get Christians to back down, but we cannot & we must not. We need to STAND! This week, Warren talks about the Breastplate of Righteousness and the need to have our Feet fitted with the Gospel of Peace. Righteousness requires us to upright and moral. The Breastplate of Righteousness is freely given to us by Gob to surround and protect our heart. Having our feet fitted with the redness that comes from the gospel of peace is a call to speak the truth of God and call people to surrender to Jesus. The gospel of peace is the good news that God sent Jesus to pay for our sins.
