Saul had a singular vision to honor God. he thought Jesus' followers were wrong and sought to stop them until he meets Jesus. His conversion demonstrates that no one is too bad to be saved and used by God if they will humble themselves when confronted by Christ. But, we also see the necessity of people who will help us make those changes and be accepted by the church family in Ananias and Barnabas. God used each of their personality strengths to build his Kingdom. We should live our strengths as well.

Acts - Getting out of the Religious Rut

God loves you even with all the unnecessary baggage you bring. Even with this baggage, we must be actively growing and seeking Jesus in our daily lives. We must continuously become more like Jesus. Don't allow your background to put you in a religious rut. Don't follow the pattern, pursue the purpose. Don't put God in a box. We can escape the religious rut by humbly seeking what God is doing.
