Through this sermon we learn that Christ had an earthly mission to do the will of the Father - redeeming a Bride for Himself from the unfaithful and lost sinners of the world. We are reminded that those Christ came to save were the very people who found themselves unworthy of salvation and often were some of the most looked down upon by the society around them.
