Water baptism is for anyone that has chosen to follow Jesus and make Him the solution to their sin problem. Here at Connection we baptize ages 10 and up.

You must register If you would like to participate in our Baptism Celebration Service on November 1 during the 9am and 11am services. There will be a mandatory Baptism Orientation Meeting on Sunday, October 18 following second service.

Congratulations on your decision to get baptized! We are looking forward to standing with you as you make this important next step in your Christian journey.  

In preparation for the upcoming baptism event, please read through the attached PDF titled, “Guide to Water Baptism” (linked below). This document clearly explains what baptism is and isn’t.  

If you find yourself in agreement with the principals found in this document and wish to proceed with baptism, then you need to be prepared to: 

1. Speak about what your life was like before you knew Christ:  (What did God save you from?) 

2. Speak about how and when you accepted Jesus as your savior: (How did He save you?)  

3. Speak about how your decision to repent and follow Jesus has changed your life:  (How is your life now?) 

Baptism is an outward expression of an internal change. Salvation comes first, then baptism.  If you have any questions about being saved, we would love to set up a time for you to meet with a Pastor to ensure your salvation. During the baptism orientation you will be asked to share a brief testimony of when you asked Jesus into your life.
