In today's message, we hear about living as citizens and servants, submitting to authority, honouring our employers, and following Jesus' example.

We need to be alert to the fact that we need to resist our enemy who prowls around, seeking to devour us.

What Peter calls elders to be is something we should all aspire to.

As we face suffering, we need to put our hope in Jesus — rejoicing and continuing to do good.
