Week 4 Kickoff - Love

December 20, 2021 • Pastor Steve Squires

Week 3 Wrap up - Joy

December 17, 2021 • Pastor Steve Squires

Week 3 Intro - Joy

December 13, 2021 • Rev. Dr. Scooter Ward • Psalm 16:11, Psalm 45:7, Isaiah 61:1–3, Galatians 5:22–23

Psalm 16:11 reminds us that in God's "Presence there is fullness of joy." Because of Jesus' gift of salvation, we have become partakers of His nature, declared righteous, and given the Holy Spirit--the third member of the Godhead--to help us live godly lives. Joy is a fruit of His Spirit in our lives, and as we marinate in His presence, we experience the same joy Jesus experienced. May His Spirit fill and equip you to do His will with great join and gladness.

Week 2 Wrapup

December 10, 2021 • Rev. Dr. Scooter Ward • Philippians 4:6–7, Proverbs 3:5–6

We wrap up this weeks devotional on the theme of peace. We have peace with God through Jesus Christ and we can experience daily the peace of God as we trust Him with all our hearts.

Week 2 Intro - Peace (includes Week 1 Wrap-Up)

December 6, 2021 • Rev. Dr. Steve Squires • Hebrews 11:1

Hope is very important to our faith. "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see" (Hebrews 11:1, NIV). We must put our faith and hope in Jesus Christ alone! True Peace comes through the Person and Work of Jesus Christ.

Week 1 - Intro - Hope

November 29, 2021 • Rev. Dr. Scooter Ward • Romans 5:5, 2 Corinthians 1:20

We must be persuaded God has already come through on all His promises in Christ. His hope does not disappoint (Romans 5:5). “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through him the ‘Amen’ is spoken by us to the glory of God” (2 Corinthians 1:20, NIV).
