Week 5 - Wrap-Up

April 1, 2022 • Rev. Dr. Scooter Ward • Ephesians 3:1–11, Romans 12:1–2

Paul was transformed as a humble servant for Gospel of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:1-11)

Writing most of the New Testament books in the Bible, the Apostle Paul was transformed from opposing Jesus and His Church to becoming one of the greatest proponents for the Gospel. Paul brings a wealth of spiritual guidance to inform the Christian’s worldview. He underscores the need for spiritual armor to fight spiritual warfare and that God’s salvation is a gift for all and only received by faith—not works.

Week 7 - Wrap-Up

April 15, 2022 • Rev. Dr. Scooter Ward • 1 Peter 3:15

Jesus is the Good Shepherd of Our Souls (John 10:11-14; 1 Peter 2:25) “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through him the ‘Amen’ is spoken by us to the glory of God” (2 Corinthians 1:20, NIV). Jesus is the Way and he paved the way for us to walk. He lived the prototype spiritual life, modeling full dependence on the Heavenly Father. When we follow Christ, we model his attitude and actions, and God restores us as vessels to reflect His glory.
