Week 6 - Wrap-Up

April 8, 2022 • Rev. Dr. Scooter Ward • Matthew 5:14–16

You have a responsibility to follow God’s will and be a light in the world (Matthew 5:14-16)

God expects us to trust Him, even when we do not understand (Proverbs 3:5-6). We respond with childlike faith and God’s proves faithful. We have been blessed by God to be a blessing to others—showing them His love. We should always be thankful, because of what God has done for us. We can experience God’s abiding peace as we grow in relationship to Him. As we know Him better, He shows us ways to serve Him.

Week 7 - Wrap-Up

April 15, 2022 • Rev. Dr. Scooter Ward • 1 Peter 3:15

Jesus is the Good Shepherd of Our Souls (John 10:11-14; 1 Peter 2:25) “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through him the ‘Amen’ is spoken by us to the glory of God” (2 Corinthians 1:20, NIV). Jesus is the Way and he paved the way for us to walk. He lived the prototype spiritual life, modeling full dependence on the Heavenly Father. When we follow Christ, we model his attitude and actions, and God restores us as vessels to reflect His glory.
