On Good Friday, we come together to honor the incredible sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross. His sacrifice was not out of obligation, but rather part of God's divine plan from the beginning. Jesus freely gave His life, enduring the cross so that sinners could be saved. Before the tomb could be empty, it had to first be filled.
