Sometimes mountaintops don't meet our expectations. When we finally get where we were planning to go and what we worked hard at doing, sometimes the expectation of what it would be like doesn't quite match the actual experience. What do we do when we arrive at our mountaintop - disappointed that it wasn’t quite what we expected? The answer may surprise you.

Disqualified: The Competition

The human experience so often feels like a competition. We compare ourselves with others and constantly use certain lenses to disqualify ourselves, or justify ourselves by disqualifying others. We will learn how the same four lenses we tend to use today have always been in use, even in Jesus' day. We will learn how to overcome those lenses in order to finally break free from the competition, and move to invitation instead.
