You are invited to come rest and be renewed! All of us can feel broken and worn out at times, but Romans 12:1-2 tells us that we can be transformed through the renewing of our minds. This transformation takes place when we meditate on Scripture. Like food to the body, the Word of God will fill you, satisfy you, and sustain you. Our guest speaker, Nancy Rempel, brings with her- years of relying on God’s Word through life’s many challenges. She knows from personal experience Scripture is enough. As a global partner, Nancy and her husband, Don, serve Kelowna, British Columbia. They minister full-time to refugees, specifically people from Syria. We are excited to announce a new location for this year's retreat..The Leadership Center in Aurora! A wonderful change is that we will have exclusive use of the facility--no other groups will be there that weekend. The facility is simple in feel but has multiple large meeting rooms, a swimming pool, sauna, a connected gym, and lots of different spaces to either find quiet or connect with others. The Leadership Center enjoys the services of a certified executive chef, so we will have 3 delicious meals together (they can accommodate any dietary restrictions). Come out as early as 3pm on Friday to spend time with other women. Check-in will be from 6pm-7, followed by a baked potato bar. Or you can plan to come for Saturday only. Breakfast starts at 8:30 and is included in the price and then the day begins with a 9:30 session. During the weekend you will have opportunities to connect through laughter, food, games, worship, prayer, sessions, table discussions, and memorizing God’s Word.
