March 9, 2024
5:00 - 7:30pm

Common Good in partnership with Madaraka Festival presents ONE NIGHT ONE MIC — A Bellevue Cultural Awakening through Music & Art. Join us Saturday, March 9th at Bellevue Youth Theatre from 5:30pm - 7:30pm (doors open at 5pm) for a free, all-ages community music event highlighting local BIPOC artists and change makers. ONE NIGHT ONE MIC is a one-of-a-kind multicultural open mic night & jam sesh that brings together some of the best local BIPOC artists and musicians in an intimate, unplugged setting. The evening will consist of several featured headlining artists, emcees, live DJ’s, and talent from the community who want to showcase their art. This first edition will also highlight and honor several notable women community leaders of color in celebration of Women’s History Month and will feature catering from Chop Chop West African Cuisine who will be providing small bites and appetizers for the event. While this is a free community-wide event, seating is limited and food will be available on a first come first serve basis, so make sure to register to secure your spot. **ATTENTION LOCAL ARTISTS/MUSICIANS ** As this is an OPEN MIC format, if you are a local artist that would like to perform at ONE NIGHT ONE MIC, you will need to sign up no later than Sunday, February 25th. When reserving your spot with the link below, please indicate that you are interested in performing when registering. While we cannot guarantee that we will have space for everyone, we will do our best to accommodate you in our show and one of our producers will followup with you to coordinate.
