In Part 1 of the "Overcomers" series, Fred Hartley, III teaches us the importance of knowing our identity as followers of Jesus. In fact, the foundation of our spiritual authority is rooted in who we are in Christ. The very fact that God sees us as overcomer is because our identity is now in Christ. We've been crucified, raised, and seated with Christ. As you see yourself in Christ, your identity is reshaped, and as your identity is reshaped, your authority is strengthened. Because we are in Christ, we have authority over the evil one!
