World Communion Sunday, October 1 We will celebrate World Communion Sunday as one body of Christ in a joint worship service beginning at 10:30 on October 1. Like the Palm Sunday and August 6 services, this will be a bilingual, bicultural time of worship. In addition to scripture and music, we will celebrate with receiving new members and communion. We’ll continue the celebration with a potluck. In the global spirit of the day, consider bringing a dish to share that represents you - maybe it’s special to your family of origin, or comes from a place around the world that you have spent time in. If you’re feeling ambitious, write its name and significance on a card to put beside the dish. Our meal together will include greeting our new members and will end with a baby shower. We’ll be extending a special invitation to Goshen College students to join us for worship and our meal, so bring extra food!
