All Saints Sisters of the Poor

The All Saints Sisters of the Poor is a monastic community of Diocesan Right in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, MD. We were erected as a new Institute of Consecrated Life on November 1, 2011. We also have a presence in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, PA Our foremost mission is to "press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us" (Phil 3:12-14). Our dedication to all the Saints inspires us to remember that it is in the company of all the Saints that we are following Jesus, even to Calvary. We have a ministry of hospitality, both at the Priory (for women) and at St Gabriel's Retreat House on the Priory grounds. We also have a ministry of providing reasonably priced greeting cards and holy cards. The designs are all done by our Sisters, are purchased and shared by people of all walks of life. Our cards may be ordered though our website, the mail, or by phone. As a formerly Anglo-Catholic Community, we treasure the opportunity to share with other Catholics the riches of our Anglican Patrimony by bringing the best of that tradition into full communion with the Holy See, in complete loyalty to the Holy Father and in faithful adherence to the Magisterium of the Church. We long for the unity of the Body of Christ as Our Lord Jesus Christ prayed: "May they all be one" (John 17:21). We endeavor to contribute whatever we can, in prayer and in action, to further this unity. We eagerly look forward to the day when there truly will be "one flock and one Shepherd" (John 10:16). To enter our community, one must be a Catholic woman and faithful to the Holy Father and the Catholic Church, age: 21 or older, at least a High School diploma, free from canonical impediments including debts, a desire to give oneself totally to God, and with good physical and mental health. We do consider belated vocations with each case considered individually. Vocation Phone: 410-747-4104 Vocation Email: sremilyann@allsaintssisters.org
