TRUTH: Love does not expire!

Love never ends because…

1. God is love
1 John 4:8 :: Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

2. God is eternal
Revelation 1:8 :: “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Psalm 90:1-2 :: Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

3. Love is eternal
1 Corinthians 13:8 :: Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.

What does this mean for me?
1. As long as there is God, there will be love
2. Since God’s love never stops, I can be assured of it
3. Since love will always exist, the call to walk in it will never cease
