1. God’s love gives me new life
2 Corinthians 5:17 :: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

2. Love for God must be consuming
Mark 12:30 :: And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’

3. Love for others must be equal to self
Mark 12:31 :: The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
