Jesus is gracious when we are desperate. The faith of Jairus was rewarded with his daughter's healing but a God with perfect timing.

Two brothers had quite different encounters with Jesus, but both ended up being His close disciples and sharing the Gospel around the world.

Saul was Israel's first king-- appointed by God to lead. Sadly, he's remembered more for his failures than anything else.

Mark was a man who had a complicated history with the Apostle Paul, but God used him mightily to share the Gospel and even to write one!
