1. What things make you busy?

2. When do you get to be quiet and still?

3. What helps your body, brain, and heart slow down and listen to God? Ideas: Sitting still; taking deep breaths; feeling your heartbeat; closing eyes; turning off TV, games, and toys, etc.

4. When you listen to God, what do you think He might say? Help kids know God

says good and loving things.

If someone needs something, but you can’t help them, what do you think you should do? Ideas: Pray for them, ask a trusted adult for help, trust God to take care of it, etc. 4. You need things, too. Who can you talk to if you need someone to take care of you? Ideas: parents, teachers, coaches, pastors, Crosstown leaders, etc.

How can you tell when your spiritual heart is hungry? Ideas: Feeling sad, lonely, afraid, angry, hateful, jealous, guilty, etc. 4. When your spiritual heart is hungry, how do you think you can feed it? Ideas: Spend time with Jesus; learn from the Bible; pray; sing and dance for God; etc. 5. Name a grown-up who can help you talk to Jesus when your heart is feeling hungry.
