A King & His Eternal Kingdom

A King & His Eternal Kingdom - Part IV

December 24, 2018 • Pastor Dallas Billington

It truly is understandable that people could overcomplicate Christianity. It goes against conventional thinking or logic to think that God, who held Adam and Eve (and mankind) accountable for their actions which led to separation from God and eventually death, would be the one who found a way to bring us close to Him again and eventually live with Him forever in Heaven. But that is exactly what happened. God gave His one and only Son, Jesus, to be our sacrifice to Him. The Bible states in Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast". It is God's desire for all people to repent of their sins and ask Jesus to be their Lord and Savior, so they too can be with Him in Heaven for eternity. This Christmas Eve, Pastor Dallas Billington continues his series, "A King & His Eternal Kingdom". The fourth message in the series is simply titled, "Don't complicate It". Share this with friends and family and invite them to our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 6pm. We look forward to seeing you.

Throughout the Bible there are many examples of where God has led His people. Most notable are the instances where the God led the Israelites with a pillar of cloud during the day and a pillar of fire at night, as they left Egypt for the Promised Land. Then the Wise Men were led by a bright star in the East to bring gifts to Jesus and worship Him. And God, still leads us today. As we quickly approach the Celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Pastor Dallas Billington continues his series, "A King & His Eternal Kingdom". The third message in the series is titled, "The Light Goes Before You". Share this with friends and family and invite them to City Church AC. There is truly no better time of the year to invite someone to Church than during Christmas. We look forward to seeing you Sunday at 11am.

Sometimes it is the most simplest concepts which we make more difficult because we just cannot believe it can be so easy. One such topic centers around the question, "How do we enter Heaven?" The Bible states in Acts 16: 31, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved". All we have to do is "Believe in Him" and put our Trust in Him. The Bible also tells us to come to Christ with the Faith of a Child. All we have to do is tell a child something and they will believe us, because they Trust us. We can Believe what the Bible says, because we can Trust the infallible Word of God. Join us this Sunday as Pastor Dallas Billington prepares to share with us a four part series, leading up to the Celebration of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ's, birth, titled, "A King & His Eternal Kingdom". The first message in the series is titled, "The Beginning and You". Share this with friends and family and invite them to City Church AC. There is no better time of the year to invite someone to Church than during the Christmas Season. We look forward to seeing you at 11am.
