Hope is Born - Part IV: The Day After Christmas: Hope Remains

December 26, 2021 • Pastor Ben Adams

There has been quite a lot of excitement as we approached the celebration of Christmas and the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The night Jesus was born shepherds came to worship the child and then they left to tell everyone. What was the next day like? For most people it was another typical day. Joseph and Mary are now parents and will raise a son. Joseph mostly like needed to return to work as a carpenter. That was before they realized they must escape to Egypt because they learned King Herod sent people to kill baby Jesus. Through all of this, Joseph and Mary had the Hope of Emanuel (God with us) on their side. We too can receive the greatest gift ever offered, if we ask Jesus into our heart, and God will always be with us through all life brings. Join us this Sunday as Pastor Ben Adams continues our Christmas Series, "Hope is Born" with this fourth message titled, "The Day After Christmas - Hope Remains". Share this with friends and family and invite them to City Church AC. We look forward to seeing you Sunday at 11am. Remember for those who are not able to attend church in person, Pastor Ben will begin preaching around 11:25 and we will live stream his message on Facebook Live and YouTube Live. Hope is Born - Part II: God's Amazing Grace . . . Jesus

December 19, 2021 • Pastor Dallas Billington

Every parent in one way or another must be a disciplinarian. Children must be held accountable for their behavior, both positively as well as negatively. The same principle holds true for God. We are His children and he holds us accountable for our behaviors. The ultimate punishment for our sin is death and separation from God. However, God stepped in and took that punishment for our Sin upon Himself when he sent His Son Jesus to take on that sacrifice for all who trust in Him. Join us this Sunday as Pastor Dallas Billington continues his Christmas series, "Hope is Born" with a second message titled, "God's Amazing Grace . . . Jesus". Share this with friends and family and invite them to City Church AC. We look forward to seeing you Sunday at 11am. Remember for those who are not able to attend church in person, Pastor Dallas will begin preaching around 11:25 and we will live stream his message on Facebook Live and YouTube Live.
