We all know happiness is a temporary state and things can happen in our lives to make us sad. Like anyone else in this world, we too as Christians will see our emotions ebb and flow. However, as Christians, we should have an underlying joy which surpasses any state of emotion because we know, regardless of our circumstances our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, will never leave us nor forsake us. The Bible states in Romans 8: 28, "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose".
