Dunk Tank Team
Thank you for volunteering at Fall Fest! We truly appreciate you giving your time to serve. Your attitude, encouragement, and friendly welcome help create a fun and safe environment for our guests while showing the love of Jesus to everyone who attends.
Please wear your Dream Team T-shirt and arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled shift so you have time to check in and receive any last-minute instructions. Before or after your shift, be sure to stop by the Family Room and enjoy a complimentary lunch as our way of saying thank you for serving!
Dunk Tank Attendant
The Dunk Tank Attendant helps keep the activity moving smoothly, safely, andāmost importantlyāfun!
Your responsibilities include:
Welcome participants and explain how the dunk tank works.
Give each participant three throws at the target, assuming three balls are available.
Retrieve the balls after each participant and return them to the throwing area.
Encourage the participants, cheer them on, and help keep the atmosphere upbeat and fun.
Keep the throwing area organized so the next person is ready when it is their turn.
Make sure participants throw only from the designated throwing line.
Do not allow anyone to walk between the person throwing the ball and the dunk tank. This is especially important for the safety of children and other guests.
Watch the area around the dunk tank and help prevent children from climbing on or playing around the equipment.
If there is a problem with the tank, seat, target, or surrounding area, temporarily stop the activity and contact the Fall Fest leadership team for assistance.
Please remember: Safety comes before speed. We want everyone to have a great time, but we also want the activity to remain safe for the person being dunked, the person throwing, and everyone watching.
Dunk Tank āDunkeesā
If you have volunteered to be one of our brave Dunkees, thank you for being such a good sport! š
Please be sure to bring:
A towel
A complete change of clothes
Dry shoes or sandals, if needed
A bag for your wet clothing
Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled dunk-tank time so the attendant can help make the transition between Dunkees go smoothly.
Once you're on the perch, get ready to smile, wave, tease the pitchers a little, and see just how long you can stay dry!
Please remain seated properly on the dunk-tank perch and follow any instructions given by the attendant. Do not climb on the tank or equipment, and carefully enter and exit the tank to avoid slipping.
And rememberāif you're sitting above that water, eventually somebody is probably going to hit that target! š
Thank you again for helping make Fall Fest a fun, welcoming, and memorable day for our church family and community.
