🍂Welcome Area Volunteer Fall Fest 2026

October 3, 2026
11:00am - 4:00pm

Fall Fest Welcome Center Team

Thank you for volunteering at Fall Fest! You are among the first people our guests will meet, so your warm smile, helpful attitude, and friendly welcome can make a wonderful first impression and help shine the love of Jesus to everyone who attends.

Please wear your Dream Team T-shirt and arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled shift so you can check in and become familiar with the Welcome Center procedures. Before or after your shift, be sure to stop by the Family Room and enjoy a complimentary lunch!

Our Welcome Center serves in five important areas:

👋 Greeters

Greeters warmly welcome families and guests as they arrive at Fall Fest.

Please:

► Smile, say hello, and make everyone feel genuinely welcome.

► Help direct guests through the Welcome Center process.

► Explain that every family must complete the required liability form before children participate in rides or activities requiring a wristband.

► Direct guests to complete the form electronically using their phone or, if necessary, to complete a paper copy available at the high-top table.

► Be available to answer basic questions and point guests toward activities, food, restrooms, or other Fall Fest areas.

Remember: our goal is to make check-in feel easy and welcoming, not like standing in line at the DMV! 😁

✅ Liability Form / Check-In Team

This team helps make sure the required forms have been completed before wristbands or food tickets are distributed.

Please:

► Direct guests to the electronic liability form or paper form when necessary.

► Check the computer to confirm that all required participants have been properly registered.

► Pay special attention to families with children under age 18.

► If information appears missing, politely ask the family to complete the required information before proceeding.

► If you are unsure whether a family is properly checked in, ask the Welcome Center leader rather than guessing.

► Please do not issue ride wristbands until the required liability information has been completed and verified.

🎟️ Wristbands, Food & Raffle Tickets

Once the family has completed the required check-in:

► Give a wristband to each eligible child under age 18 who will be participating in rides.

► Provide the appropriate free food tickets.

► Give each family 10 raffle tickets.

► Point guests toward the raffle area and explain how the drawings work.

► Remind them that there will be a raffle drawing each hour and that they must be present to win.

► Please be consistent so each family receives the correct number of tickets and wristbands.

🎁 Raffle Monitors

Raffle Monitors help protect and oversee the raffle prize area.

Please:

► Keep an eye on the raffle prizes throughout your shift.

► Politely ask guests not to handle prizes unnecessarily.

► Make sure no prizes are removed before they have been officially awarded.

► Help guests understand where to place their raffle tickets.

► Keep the raffle area neat and organized.

► Notify the Welcome Center leader if there is a question or problem involving a prize.

We want everyone to enjoy looking at the prizes — we just want those prizes to still be there when it's time to draw the winners! 😁

🔢 Attendance Counters

Attendance Counters help us determine how many people attend Fall Fest.

Using the provided clicker counter:

► Count every person who enters the event, including adults and children.

► Click once for each individual — not once per family.

► Stay attentive so people are not accidentally counted twice.

► Do not reset the counter during your shift.

► At the end of your shift, give the count or clicker to the person relieving you or to the Welcome Center leader.

► Accurate attendance numbers help us tremendously when planning future Fall Fests.

Remember

WELCOME • VERIFY • DIRECT

WELCOME — Make every guest feel glad they came.

VERIFY — Make sure forms are completed before distributing wristbands and tickets.

DIRECT — Help people know where to go and what happens next.

Thank you for helping make our Welcome Center exactly what its name says — a place where every person

who arrives at Fall Fest feels welcomed, cared for, and ready to enjoy the day!
