It's Operation Christmas Child season! Dates for specific collections have already begun, & our annual packing party is happening at St. John's school on Tuesday, November 14th. Here are all the dates for what we are doing each week: Sunday, October 1st: Folding shoeboxes & adding stickers after service Sunday, October 8th: Collecting toys Sunday, October 15th: Collecting school supplies (pens, pencils, sharpeners, crayons, markers, notebooks, paper, coloring books, etc.) Sunday, October 22nd: Collecting clothing (t-shirts, hats, socks, scarves, sunglasses, hair clips, jewelry) Sunday, October 29th: Collecting hygiene items (toothbrushes, washcloths, combs, soap--no toothpaste or liquid soap) Thursday, November 2nd: Senior OCC work day to make hygiene kits, crayon packets, etc. Sunday, November 5th: Moving all supplies to St. John’s Tuesday, November 14th: Packing party @ St. John's, from 5:30 - 7 PM. Join us & help pack shoeboxes! We are also in need of volunteers to bring dessert, as well as several people to help serve food the day-of. November 13th - 20th: Collection week for completed shoeboxes Donation schedules are available at our Connect Center every Sunday.
