Pastor Todd Smith joined us back in August for two dynamic nights where people encountered Jesus in the waters of baptism. We're setting our hearts in expectation that He will light a fire in the hearts of his people in an even greater way. During this fast, we are praying in five distinct ways: 1. God, please forgive us for drifting from you. We give you permission to wake us up, all of us! (Eph 5:14) 2. We pray that the leadership and all the church members would grow increasingly dissatisfied with their current walk with You and would cry out for more of you. (Psalm 63:1) 3. Reveal to each of us anything in our lives that offends, grieves, or quenches Your Spirit. We will be quick to repent. (Ps 119:10; 139:23-24) 4. As we seek Your face, may Your presence and glory increase in our church services (Ps 26:8) 5. Baptize all of us with the Holy Spirit and fire.
