Katie Ann (Wold) Yarbrough went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday, August 4, 2021, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Katie served in ministry as an associate pastor, evangelist, and senior pastor’s wife for almost 36 years. She and her husband have been senior pastors at Christian Assembly in Sherwood, Arkansas for 26 years. Katie also worked outside the home, holding multiple positions in banking and administration during her career. Most notably, she served at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in the billing department, Day Medicine Clinic, and eventually as Executive Assistant to the Chief of Pediatric Urology, Dr. Stephen Canon. She was currently working for the State of Arkansas as Executive Assistant to the Arkansas Attorney General, Leslie Rutledge.

Katie is survived by her husband, Rev. Hugh Yarbrough, and three children, Whitney Ann Yarbrough, Will (Lauren) Yarbrough, and Noah Yarbrough. Her children were her pride and joy. She is survived by her brothers Ricky (Cindy) Tommasi, Donny Wold, and Kevin (Darla) Wold and sister, Angela Wold. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews whom she adored.

She had multiple television appearances during her ministry and had a recording in 1994 entitled “Revival Songs”. Katie was outgoing and vivacious. She loved people, loved to talk, and people loved her. She made friends everywhere she went. And she truly lived her faith, always influencing people for Christ. Heaven will be much richer because of her life. “Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all” (Proverbs 31:29 NKJV).
